Quick and Easy Facial Moisturizer For Every Skin Type

The following recipes are so simple anyone could make them. All you need are the natural ingredients, a small glass bottle or jar with a lid, and the ability to shake it!


Moisturizer For Normal Skin

  • 2 Tablespoons Grapeseed Oil
  • 1 Teaspoon Jojoba Oil
  • 1 Teaspoon Wheat Germ Oil
  • 5 Drops Lavender Oil
  • 3 Drops Lemon Grass Oil

Put all ingredients into a small glass jar with a lid and shake very well until well mixed. Shake before each use.


Moisturizer For Sensitive Skin

  • 2 Tablespoons Grapeseed Oil
  • 1 Teaspoon Jojoba Oil
  • 1 Teaspoon Apricot Kernal Oil
  • 5 Drops Lavender Oil
  • 3 Drops Chamomile Oil

Put all ingredients into a small glass jar with a lid and shake very well until well mixed. Shake before each use.


Moisturizer For Dry Skin

  • 1 Tablespoon Avocado Oil
  • 1 Tablespoon Grapeseed Oil
  • 2 Teaspoon Apricot Kernal Oil
  • 5 Drops Sandalwood Oil
  • 3 Drops Rosehip Seed Oil

Put all ingredients into a small glass jar with a lid and shake very well until well mixed. Shake before each use.


Moisturizer For Mature Skin

  • 1 Tablespoon Avocado Oil
  • 1 Tablespoon Apricot Kernal Oil
  • 1 Teaspoon Jojoba Oil
  • 1 Teaspoon Wheat Germ Oil
  • 5 Drops Lavender Oil
  • 3 Drops Carrot Seed Oil

Put all ingredients into a small glass jar with a lid and shake very well until well mixed. Shake before each use.


Moisturizer For Oily/Acne Prone Skin

  • 2 Tablespoons Sweet Almond Oil
  • 1 Teaspoon Jojoba Oil
  • 1 Teaspoon Apricot Kernal Oil
  • 4 Drops Geranium Oil
  • 2 Drops Juniper Oil
  • 2 Drops Cranberry Seed Oil

Put all ingredients into a small glass jar with a lid and shake very well until well mixed. Shake before each use.


The following facial moisturizer recipes are not as simple as the previous ones but are worth the time to make and are a very luxurious treat for your skin.


Olive Oil And Aloe Moisturizer

  • 1 Tablespoon Aloe Vera Gel
  • 1/3 Cup Extra Virgin Olive Oil (cold pressed)
  • 1 Tablespoon Beeswax
  • 2 Tablespoons Lanolin
  • 2 Tablespoons Rose Water
  • 3 Drops Sandalwood Oil

Mix together aloe gel and olive oil together in a small bowl. Over double boiler melt together beeswax and lanolin. When completely melted and mixed remove from heat and allow to cool. Whisk together aloe-olive oil mixture and beeswax-lanolin mixture. Very slowly whisk in warmed rosewater until mixture begins to thicken and become creamy. Add sandalwood oil and continue to whisk until it reaches desired consistency. Store in sterile glass jar.


Avocado Moisturizer

  • 1 1/2 Teaspoons Beeswax
  • 1 1/2 Teaspoons Emulsifying Wax
  • 1/4 Cup Sweet Almond Oil
  • 1/4 Cup Avocado Oil
  • 1 1/2 Tablespoons Rose Water
  • 2 Drops Carrot Seed Oil

Over double boiler melt together beeswax and emulsifying wax. Remove from heat and allow to cool. Whisk in almond and avocado oil. Slowly whisk in warmed rosewater until mixture begins to thicken and become creamy. Add carrot seed oil and continue to whisk until mixture becomes desired consistency. Store in a sterile glass jar.
